Electrical Engineering Practice Group of Deheng IP services

Practices of the Practice Group cover all the areas of
Electronics, such as Semiconductors, telecommunications, image
processing, multimedia, optical storage, computers, IP-based
convergence technologies etc. And each member of the Practice
Group has a degree in electrical engineering, or
telecommunications, or image processing, or optical engineering
or physics from top-ranked universities like Peking University,
Tsinghua University, and BUPT etc. By representing the clients

Mechanical Engineering Practice Group
Mechanical Engineering Practice Group has extensive experiences
in the field of scientific research, engineering design, product
development or IP management. Also, some of the attorneys have
been examiners or patent researchers in SIPO, and have extensive
experiences in patent examining, examining process and so on.
Professionals of the Practice Group obtained their Master or
Ph.D. degree in mechanical, physics, automatization and
automation, precise instrumentations, metallurgy, material
science, and related fields.
Using their collective experience in teamwork, the group
provides forward-looking strategic counsel to clients across
many industries and law affairs regarding the fields of patent
acquiring; drafting of patent specification; responding to the
office action; patent consulting and searching; and patent
reexamination, invalidation and litigation. In particular, they
have strong ability and abundant experience in legal affairs,

and patent invalidation cases, patent infringement analyzing and

Chemistry /Biotechnology/Pharmaceuticals Practice Group
practices skilledly in a variety of the related area, such as
pharmaceutical chemistry, gene engineering, biochip science,
chemical engineering, inorganic chemistry, textile science,
metallurgy, environmental science, etc. All of them hold degrees
on scientific degrees, engineering degrees and advanced
graduated degrees in the field of biotechnology, chemistry, cell
and molecular biology, polymer chemistry and physics, physical
chemistry, microbiology, chemical engineering and biotechnology.

Litigation Practice Group
Litigation Practice Group furnishes clients a perfect litigation

intellectual property. It provides clients with creative and

multifaceted disputes in China and aboard.
Litigators of the Practice Group are widely known for its
settlement and litigation capabilities. Most of the group’s IP
litigators hold not only advanced degrees in legal, such as
J.D., LL.M., LL.B., but also in science and engineering. Most of
them are qualified as both patent attorneys and
attorneys-at-law, which ensures that litigation cases involving
scientific or other complex issues will benefit from the
integration of the firm’s patent prosecution practice with its
IP litigation practice.
The group also provides comprehensive legal services in other
areas involving intellectual property:
-Patent search, opinions on patentability, validity opinions,
re-examination and invalidation and infringement analysis;
-Assignment of patents/trademark, licensing, negotiation for
settlement/licensing/agreement, commercialization of

Trademark Practice Group
Trademark Practice Group works on a full range of trademark
business, including search, registration, review, opposition,
cancellation, licensing, litigation, transaction, and counseling
for clients from China and all over the world.
With the clients moving to the more enforcement side of the
established rights, the Department also shifts its priority
services to the projects more sophisticated if compared with
registration.
