Scott is a senior partner of DeHeng Law Offices/DeHeng Intellectual Property Law, LLC. He has been involved in the practice of intellectual property law since 1985 with a focus on patent prosecution, intellectual property due diligence exercise, various IP related litigations and client counseling. Scott has prosecuted thousands of patent applications related to inventions in mechanics, new materials, home appliances, telecommunication, computer science, and semiconductor fabrication and devices.

During the past thirty years, he has advised numerous foreign and domestic clients in patent, trademark, copyrights, and unfair competition matters. Scott also has considerable experience in intellectual property litigations such as patent infringement, trademark infringement, and unfair competition. Scott received advanced Intellectual Property practice training in the United States for twice, in 1997 and 2002 respectively. Scott was listed as World’s Leading Patent Law Practitioner in 2007 by MIP.
